Black lies, white lies and colored truths

Well, aren’t colored truths actually lies which have some part of truth in them? white lies on the other hand are lies, but they are supposed to be insignificant in the sense that they will not harm anyone, benign

People used to say, I see / perceive people, their character as black or white; good or bad; but no one is like that aye? Everyone has shades of grey; some more than the others, a bit like colored truths I suppose.

What about lies?

Is it also a matter of perspective? like I am saying the truth but you may think I am hiding something or that it’s a white lie. Interesting word huh? white lie. Are there beige, creamy ones? to think lies have colors. I think of them as purple actually, succulent purple. So that they go down easily i suppose; from the phrase 'swallow a lie'

What do lies taste like? Are they always bitter? Could they possibly taste sweet? like in bitter sweet lie. On second thoughts yes, lies can taste sweet, bitter, bitter sweet, what not; even rancid I guess.
