Rationality of the irrational

Why the word GOD, Eshwar, Allah, YHWA, Yahweh, Aalaha etc. is irrational to many?
It is because of the image created by these words in our minds. Often we go behind the stories told by priests and clergies. These stories are the basis of our concept of God such as a white man with a long beard sitting on clouds escorted by angels or the sanku, Chakra, Gadhadhari lying on a serpent.
But please remember
Islam will not permit to imagine or attribute any shape to Allah. Jews will not even pronounce the word YHWA (Only Catholic Church says the pronunciation of that word is Yahweh). Vedanta says about ‘Nithya Nirakara Nirguna Parabhramam’ ; the eternal Bramam without any form or attributes.
It is true that there is certainly a limit in the perception. Everybody does have limitations to perceive. Some people never can go beyond a ‘Madan’, ‘Marutha’ or ‘Kuttichathan’ or even a Christ, Siva or Vishnu. But still it is their God. According to them what are the functions of their god? To protect them from dangers, to punish his foes, to give him blessing, money, power, and at last the Heaven and one who enjoys ultimate pleasure and ecstasy (Parama Sukha Rasaswatha romanjithange !!!)
Now, take the case of a wolf. What could be his thinking towards his pack leader? One who can guide the pack to a good hunt, one who can protect the pack from the enemies, one who enjoys the freedom of mating etc.
If we compare both and deduce it to a level of a theoretical entity, we can see that there will not be much difference.
To me, these words are perfectly rational in my own way. Why?
It is the name of my emotional response to Nature and this infinite existence called the Universe. It is a sense of awe, wonder, reverence and acceptance based on its power, beauty and mystery. I will even prefer to consider it as ‘Super Natural’ because I am not sure about what exactly is ‘Natural’. I will prefer not to avoid theistic words to refer it because there is no ambiguity in me.
